FASTRAK WEEKEND WARRIOR RACING NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP UPDATE - TRIMBLE CONTINUES TO LEAD $20,000 TO WIN FASTRAK NATIONAL POINTS CHASE, LUKE HYRE CLOSING THE GAP

Carnesville, Georgia - Week fourteen of Weekend Warrior Racing National Championship racing is in the books with Brent Trimble of Morgantown, WV, still on top of the $20,000 to win National Championship with 609 points, but the race has tightened up heading into week fifteen with Luke Hyre of Rock Cave, WV (583 points) closing the gap to 26 points. Trimble scored a twelfth-place finish on Saturday, July 9th at Elkins Raceway, while Hyre picked up a third-place finish at Elkins.

Rounding out the top five in Weekend Warrior Racing National Championship points are Kyle Lukon (476), Lane Brock (329 points), and Chandi Currance (323 points).

Sixth through tenth, respectfully, are Dylan Lewis (266), Lucas McDonald (257), Sparky Davidson (229), Derrick Shaw (225), and Michael Moreland (214).
