Richmond Raceway to Host Back-To-Back FASTRAK Touring Series Events September 20-21st with Two Championships on the Line; One Lucky Driver Each Night Will Take Home a New GM Performance 604 Crate Engine

Richmond, KY - The FASTRAK Racing Series will travel to "The Beast of The East" Richmond Raceway located in Richmond, Kentucky, on September 20-21, 2024, for two events that will decide the champions for both the FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance, with defending champion Colby Quick leads the FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance by twenty-three points over Luke Hyre, and the VP presents Weekend Warrior Racing national weekly series where there is a tie between Braeden Dillinger and Brent Trimble, with Dillinger holding the tie-breaker.

On Friday, September 20th, FASTRAK Racing Series competitors will compete in the "Prelude To The Damn Yankee" event paying $3,000 to win and $275 to start. On Saturday, September 21st, FASTRAK Racing Series competitors will compete for the "7th Annual Damn Yankees Fifty" event paying $10,000 to win and $400 to start.

One lucky driver will go home each night with a brand-new GM Performance 604 crate motor. All they have to do is register and attempt to qualify, and they will be entered into the random drawing each night. There will also be one tire drawn and given away to one driver each night during the drivers meeting.

“We are super excited to host back-to-back FASTRAK Touring Series events again this year. We are anticipating a large car count as these will be the final two races that will determine the 2024 championships for both the FASTRAK touring series and the VP Racing presents Weekend Warrior national weekly racing,” commented FASTRAK and Richmond Raceway owner Bill Lupinos.

Friday, September 20th race program will include the FASTRAK Racing Series ($3,000 to win), Eagle Finance Modifieds ($1,000 to win); What's Up World Podcast Crown Vics ($300 to win).

Saturday, September 21st, the race program will include the FASTRAK Racing Series ($10,000 to win), KDRA Super Stock Series ($2,000 to win); Queen City Compacts ($1,000 to win).

On Friday, September 20th, pit gates will open at 3:00 PM, and grandstand gates will open at 5:00 PM. Adult admission Friday is just $15, with children 10 and under free. Pit passes are$35 for adults, and children 6-12 are $15.

On Saturday, September 21st, pit gates will open at 2:00 PM, and grandstand gates will open at 4:00 PM. Adult admission Friday is just $25, with children 10 and under free. Pit passes are$40 for adults, and children 6-12 are $20.

Heading into the two-race weekend at Richmond Raceway, the current top five in the FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance point standings include Colby Quick (126 PTS), Luke Hyre (103 PTS), Ronnie Sissney (93 PTS), Noah Whited (92 PTS), and Walker Arthur (35 PTS).

Heading into the two-race weekend at Richmond Raceway, the current top five in the VP presents Weekend Warrior Racing point standings include 2020 and 2021 Champion Braeden Dillinger (635 PTS), 2022 Champion Brent Trimble (635 PTS), George Casto (617 PTS), Dave Loudin (592 PTS), and Luke Hyre (589 PTS).
